I’m Shila! My journey started with a Bachelor's degree in English Literature in my home country, but my passion for visual storytelling led me to Malaysia, where I earned a second Bachelor's degree in Film and Animation.
After graduating in Kuala Lumpur, I dove into video production, creating documentary and commercial videos. That’s where my love for video editing and motion design really took off. I worked with advertising agencies and film festivals, bringing stories to life through visuals.
To further my education, I moved to Italy to pursue a Master’s degree at Politecnico di Milano. Since then, I’ve collaborated with various advertising firms, startups, and festivals across Europe, both remotely and in person.
I have five years of experience creating content for various social media platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, Linkedin and Instagram. I have worked both remotely and on-site across different countries such as England, Canada, Malaysia, and Italy. You can find a list of the companies I’ve collaborated with on the home page.
My expertise includes creating trailers, wedding videos, film festival content, commercials, behind-the-scenes and etc.
I believe that every video, regardless of its purpose, should be treated as a work of art. Each project I take on not only sharpens my technical skills but also deepens my artistic perspective.
In addition to video production, I also manage social media accounts for businesses, helping to increase their engagement, views, and sales.
Alongside my work in video production, I have always been deeply passionate about the performing arts.
My journey began with ballroom dancing in Malaysia, where I first discovered my love for the stage. Upon moving to Milan, I decided to pursue acting more seriously and enrolled in an acting school.
Recently, I had the pleasure of collaborating with the English Theatre Milan, (ETM)
where I performed in a drama of Shakespeare The Tempest.
